Be the voice behind the lesson.
Point to each letter and say its sound, not its name, while your child follows. Pause between sounds, then sweep your finger under the letters to blend the word. If a word is tricky, model it kindly and try again together. Ten calm minutes are better than rushing.
These are practice activities, not a reading assessment or a replacement for a teacher. Speech or reading concerns deserve support from a qualified educator or clinician.
